Trip to Livingston

Matt and Dad drove 3 plus hours to the Central Valley today to check on the almonds and grapes. They also stopped at the Gallo Winery where they loaded up the van. Mom and I went food shopping and piddled around. Tonight I will watch the VP debate with Grandma B. Weather still gorgeous. Swam.
Matt standing in the vineyard? Not sure it's called a vineyard if the grapes are dried and sold as raisins. Maybe it's a grape orchard!!
John standing in front of a few of the 80 boxes of raisins (each weighing 1,000 lbs) that will go to Sunmaid. Click on the picture and you will see millions of raisins.

Matt & your father are quite the grape kind-a-sewers, but I think they like wine rather than rasins. I am glad you got to go to Grandma B's for the debate. I called her just after you left.
Biden sure can debate; but, Palin held her own. You might expect more out of someone with over 30 plus years her senior in international and domestic affairs on the federal front. Very enjoyable.

DO YOU KNOW WHY "THE BOOMB-MA" SLEEPS SO WELL HE HAS HIS PHONE "CALL FORWARDED" TO BIDEN; SO HE DOESNOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT 3AM PHONE CALL.

I couldnt really see the grapes, they looked more like green beans to me.
What did you think of the debate, I only saw parts of it this morning and I don't know who I thought did better, I didnt like the winking though.

I just bought a two pound bag of Sunmaid raisins. Nice to know I'm supporting the family business.

Weren't the grapes out of production for a few years? Are the almonds back in production? Have the bee problems resolved?
