Trip to Livingston

Matt and Dad drove 3 plus hours to the Central Valley today to check on the almonds and grapes. They also stopped at the Gallo Winery where they loaded up the van. Mom and I went food shopping and piddled around. Tonight I will watch the VP debate with Grandma B. Weather still gorgeous. Swam.

Glass Pumpkin Display

The blue dichroic glass pumpkin had a price take of 250.00!! It was about 12 inches across.

Thousands of hand blown glass pumpkins, all shapes and sizes, are on display for a few more days at the Palo Alto Art Center. I think I will return to take a few more pics. The stems were amazing.

Can you imagine going to college in such a gorgeous setting? My niece is lucky enough to live in the forest and go to school there, too. All the buildings are nestled in trees. She said she feels like she's at summer camp all year. The campus was very appealing to me. It was great to see Marianne, too.

Heading to Santa Cruz

Already walked the dog. At 10 am today we will drive to Santa Cruz. We're going to take Marianne out to lunch and visit a state park called Natural Bridges. I'm taking my Dad's camera. Matt figured out how to delete photos off of it. Yeah. Still waiting for my tiny, easy to operate one to arrive. Photos later on.
