how blessed my life is. 

Walking in Middleton WI

 Snow lasted about 4 days, but is all gone now.  This is the route I walk to get to the closest grocery store - Willy Street Co-op

 Now I understand why this is called a "milkweed" pod.  It was beautiful!!

A WI trapper's home

 My friend's husband left this skinned racoon on their driveway.  She had a fit that he hadn't put it somewhere more discreet.

 When we walked thru the garage there were two muskrats on the floor.

 The two photos above are muskrat furs drying.  My friend's husband is as real a trapper as Daniel Boone!! 

This is a wooden plaque on my friend's kitchen wall.  Each of the metal tags represents a yearly tag for trappers.  This plague shows tags for 50 years worth of trapping.  My frind said these tags are quite valuable and it is very unusual to see a collection of 50 years worth of trapping tags.

 In less than two weeks this handsome fellow will turn 4!!!

Evelyn did a great job of taking our portrait!!!  The three of us took a walk after church at a nearby Goth Conservancy.  O was napping.
