Mycenae, April 3
The frailty of human existence cannot be denied when walking through 4,000 year old ruins. In its heyday this was a thriving place.
Lion's Gate at Mycenae, even on a Thursday, teeming with visitors.
View of Mycenae from the beehive tomb. Click to enlarge and see ruins mid screen.

Laurie,
the pictures are so inviting.. I guess I have to wait till the kids are bigger. You must be overjoyed to be there and get a hint of how great it was in the good old days. Hope you will be sharing more when you get back. Henny Spresser
