Momenvasia

In this shot you can see the causeway that connects the island with the mainland. Momenvasia means "Single Entry." The island has two towns on it, both on the backside of the island. One is on top and is a walled in city in complete ruins. The second, or lower one, is also a walled city, very old, but partially restored. That is where we stayed. There is also a modern city at the other end of the causeway. I call that the "New Monemvasia."

looks kinda like China mans hat in Hawaii! except there is no land entry to that!
