Look for comment by Debbie to get correct spelling for this place. It was an ancient hospital.
The Theater holds 20,00 people and has perfect acoustics. Debbie went half way up the seats and spoke my name in a normal tone. From the stage area I heard her loud and clear. All the students who were wandering around were clapping and chattering... to test the acoustics, too. Summer performances are held here each year and are packed. 
The structure is so big I couldn't fit it in the photo. Epidarius was the last stop on our all day tour on Thursday, April 3. The tour guide was a walking encyclopedia.
