Too Much Too Fast

Two inches of rain in one hour = a flooded basement.... good thing I have a wet vac!!!
Our street looked like a river!!!

Seen at Narragansett Town Beach

Teddie had a fit when I photographed the bride/groom.  I love to see people getting married on my beach.  I wanted to photograph the entire wedding party, but I restrained myself.  Hopefully they have a happy life together, whoever they are!!!

Stop on the way home from TF Green

bought  Kopper King Hibiscus... Reddish leaves with 12" flowers  Not blooming yet.... but it's planted and should be spectacular in about a week.

Best Husband Ever

When I came up with a completely different idea for our former vegetable garden, he never flinched.  Just got out the tiller, built me a custom arbor, filled a pickup with 1/2 cubic yard of the best compost RI has to offer, unloaded it, built me a raised bed for kale/swiss chard, and filled it with the compost.
This is his vacation, too.  Don't forget that he has trimmed, edged and tidied up the rest of the yard, too... including the overgrown raspberries.  A BIG THANK YOU.  Someday we will sit in the new garden together listening to the sound of water.... and sipping rootbeer floats!!!

Any Resemblance??

Any resemblance to anyone you know???

Narragansett Evening

This is an older shot taken after a big storm
 The Towers

The last 3 photos were taken in the rocky area outside the Coast Guard House as we walked the wall.  The rock builder is visible in a red shirt and white hat in the top 2, but my favorite is the third one.  I love it!!!

Old Mountain Field, South Kingstown, RI

Old Mountain Field is a large multi-use park two blocks from the main intersecton in South Kingstown.  It includes soccer fields, tennis courts, a skateboard park, and softball fields.  If you go to far end of the park you will see this gorgeous pond.  I've lived here 17 years and have never noticed this spot.
