That's how long ago we were sealed in this, the Oakland Temple. Ten years and 6 months ago Jesse and Kevin did the same. Yesterday was a gorgeous day, both inside and out. The drive from PA only took 52 minutes. Still a stressful drive as we went 88o to 580 to who knows what else.... nothing but cars. For those of you who have never lived in the Bay Area... 880 is the Nimitz Freeway... also known as "The Bloody Nimitz." I was glad Ted was driving. This Temple sits on the side of a hill with an incredible view of Oakland and SF in the distance. My photo did NOT do it justice. (All you viewers shivering away in the East.... note: Laurie has short sleeves on and the sky is BLUE.)

I hope you had a wonderful visit to the Temple - a nice thing to do the week before Christmas. We had the 34th anniversary of our sealing on Nov. 28. And yes - we are freezing - it was 12 deg. when I left my house this a.m. - long johns, sweater, wool blazer, all topped by fur coat - brrrrrrrr.
Nice Mom, I like the pictures, however don't worry, we are supposed to get up to a foot of snow on Saturday night, looks like church is out of the picture even if Theo feels better...
Are you sure it was 32 years ago? I thought you got baptized in 78/79...which means you would have been sealed in 79/80.... No?
Jesse... You were 1 year and 11 months old when we were sealed. You were there. It was 32 plus years ago.
