Repurposing bamboo shade

 I needed something that looked neater than a cloth thrown over a spring rod.  So.... I cut the old bamboo shade that I had, duck taped the edges with white tape, and held it in place with a spring rod.

 The 2 photos above show the unpainted new curtain. 

Then I decided to paint the new curtain.  I used a brush, but would not recommend this.  Use a can of spray paint.
