My buddy, Spike

This was my charge while my parents frolicked off the coast in Hawaii. He followed me to the vegetable garden and would watch me from the shade of a potted blueberry bush or the scraggly dwarf lemon bush. During the night he would leave his bed and end up on mine. He loved licking my chin!!!

chest high salad table.. inspired by a friend in WI and built with the help of Sal (the box and sawhorses), Mike (the screens in the bottom) and Tom (for helping me use a level) One of my goals 5 weeks ago was to complete this project before I departed. Thanks to so many helpers it is now in place.

This was so easy to sow seeds in. The perfect height.

High School Friends Get-Together

The Adventure Begins

My nephew, the policeman, took my parents and me out to lunch. My other nephew, the bean-counter, met us there. Dad certainly enjoyed his chocolate milkshake. We had a great time.
