First Try

This summer I decided to try something different in the garden- tomatillos. I had no idea how tall they'd grow and am still wondering when they'll stop . If you enlarge the bottom photo you will see a tomatillo plant to my right that is at least 6 feet tall and filled with green papery orbs. There are three other plants behind that one.

I have them too, and can't believe how much they produce... the plants do tend to go crazy!! Do you have good recipes???

We have a fab recipe for green sauce (you know, if you're from NM, there is a state question: green or red? referring, of course, to enchillada sauce). We also have a great recipe for bean enchilladas--we have it 2x a month.
