My mother said that Washington DC is expecting 36 inches of snow!! Here, as you can tell by the photos, spring is right around the corner. Because of the Oriental Brush Painting class I'm in I've become more aware of what's blooming and carry my camera with me as I walk Bingo. The gorgeous pink flowers are either magnolia or tulip tree... they are spectacular....

I love tulip trees. We had one in our yard when we lived in CA. It always makes me nostalgic to see them.
